I had the same problem as Suzanne about receiving an expired certificate in
Word (macros). I read your answer and used your solution. Thank you. But
what is Caere?

But what is Caere? Why is it associated with the problem?

Caere make scanning software with add-ins to Word. Add-ins, especially old
add-ins can be problematical.
