How can I find a document that was lost?
I swear I saved my document, but I cannot find it. I've even tried restoring
my computer to an earlier time, but I still can't find it. Can anyone help? |

Restoring Windows has no effect on documents, but if you opened and saved a
Word attachment directly from e-mail - it *may* have harmed your ability to recover your changes. See http://www.gmayor.com/outlook_attachments.htm If you didn't save it, there's nothing to recover. If you did save a normal document, then Windows Explorer's search function will find it. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org krytty36 wrote: I swear I saved my document, but I cannot find it. Bottom left, "Start" tab. Pick "Search" and type in the file name (or all
you can remember of it). If you saved it, "Search" should find it. -- Y "krytty36" wrote: I swear I saved my document, but I cannot find it. I've even tried restoring my computer to an earlier time, but I still can't find it. Can anyone help? |
