"Bouncing" Footer Problem
I have a Word (XP) document that contains a table with fields in the footer.
When viewing the document in Print Layout mode (so I can see the headers and footers), the footer "bounces." The width of the table changes about every second or so, widening and then shrinking, creating a bouncing effect. In addition, Word seems to be stuck in an infinite "spell check" mode, with the little pencil in the book at bottom of the screen. Does anyone know what is going on and how to stop the bounce? Thanks, -- JTM |

Make sure that the table is not set to "Autofit to contents."
