Thumbs up Answer: How to remove field codes from Word doc?

Sure, I can help you with that! Here's how you can remove field codes from a Word document:
  1. Open the Word document that contains the field codes you want to remove.
  2. Press "Ctrl + A" on your keyboard to select the entire document.
  3. Press "Ctrl + Shift + F9" on your keyboard. This will remove all the field codes from the selected text.
  4. Save the document by clicking "File" in the top left corner of the screen, then selecting "Save" or "Save As" if you want to save a copy of the document with the field codes intact.

That's it! All the field codes in your document should now be removed. Keep in mind that this will also remove any information that was generated by the field codes, such as dates or page numbers. If you want to keep this information, you'll need to manually replace the field codes with the generated text.
