Default two autonomous separate text columns

I need two separate columns. Each column needs to be independant from each
other. Should be able to enter text into each column and insert (paste) into
each column. Each column should wrap down into the next page. Insert text
or photos should remain within the column.

Use a two-column table (clear the table borders). You may want to insert a
new row occasionally, since Word doesn't like it when a single row wraps too
many pages; see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFms/FastTables.htm.
