Default How do I change the properties of a pre set watermark?

If you're referring to modifying a watermark inserted with Word's Format |
Background | Printed Watermark, the answer is twofold:

1. You can't make any changes in what Word inserts, nor can you add built-in
watermarks (you have to type in your custom text each time).

2. You can, however, modify the watermark after it's inserted. All a
watermark is is a graphic (picture or WordArt text) anchored to the document
header. View | Header and Footer to access it, select the graphic, and make
the desired changes.
