Default Customized AutoText files...where do I find them?

Where do I find custom entries for the AutoText fxn, so that I may transfer
them to my new laptop?

Thanks

Hi TDryden

See:
What do Templates and Add-ins store?
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Custom...latesStore.htm

and

What files do I need to back up?
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/FilesToBackup.htm
Hope this helps.

Autotext is in templates, normal.dot by default, but you do not want to
simply copy normal.dot to your new laptop. See
http://addbalance.com/word/movetotemplate.htm for step-by-step instructions
on moving / sharing / copying / backing-up customizations including
AutoText, AutoCorrect, keyboard assignments, toolbars, macros, etc.
