Default Autosum in a simple table

Dear all,

I have a really weird problem on one pc. On the other 5 pc is works
OK.

When i create a word document, put in a table. Fill in 4 rows with
numbers, like

10,20
43,23
39,21
39.56

Then i would like to create a autosum en do this with a fieldformula
and have tried this with the autosum button on the menu. On this
particular PC the autosum does not work! it keeps on giving the value
0,00

Any ideas.

Thanks, marcel

AutoSum (which is the { = SUM(ABOVE) } field) works only on the immediately
adjacent cells above. It stops at a blank cell. Do you perhaps have a blank
row above your totals row?

Hi Suzanne,

Empty rows, and cells containing only text, including space characters
between the totals row and the first numeric row don't matter. What would
matter is having, say, a 0 on the penultimate row and a blank/text cell
above that.

Cheers
