why is actual vertical pitch different to that set?
printing labels in Word; the set value of vertical pitch (which corresponds
to label height) is 3.8cm. However when I print the labels, the vertical pitch measurement is 3.6cm, therefore the labels (on a 4 x 7 layout) progressively get out of alignment so that the address on about the 4th row down is overlapping the top of the label. Cannot understand how this occurs but assume that Word is somehow mainipulating the value(s). Help - I'm running out of label paper!! Mal Law, Western Australia. |

Do you see the same problem if you print on plain paper? It's always a good
idea to test on plain paper until you're sure you have the layout right. If it is, but then the labels are wrong, the problem is with the feed mechanism of your printer. -- Suzanne S.
