Default How do I keep MS Word from shutting down every time I close a fil.

For some reason, MS Word has taken to shutting down entirely every time I
close an open file. How can I correct this?

go under the file menu and highlight the word close and press enter OR there
are 2 x marks at the top right click the one on the bottom of the 2 OR press
CTRL + F4 OR highlight the name of the file one the taskbar right click it
highlight the word close and press enter OR press ALT + F then shift C if you
made any changes to the document then it will ask you if you wand to save the
changes

I HOPE THIS IS WHAT YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT

Thanks a lot. That does, indeed, seem to have done the trick. :-) Merely
highlighting "close" and the pressing "Enter" seems to have corrected it.
