A,
Go to Tools - options - on the edit tab - see if there is a check next to keep track formatting if there is not check it. That should help, be aware that every change in format, however small, will be tracked. This can be a pain because the task pane will get cluttered with a lot of unsignificant changes. Personally I do not have it turned on. Luc a schreef in bericht ... I am editing quite a large document and I am trying to use styles. I bring up the styles and formatting box with styles in use selected at the bottom of the box and it shows a number of styles (Heading 1, Heading 2 etc) except that when you select one it shows "select all: not currently in use" for all of them - even when I can see it on the left hand pane. The "select all" button at the top of the pane is grayed out as well. Any one any ideas why this is? Tony |
