Equation Editor Problems
I am taking classes on-line. My algebra teacher is sending in out test for
this week. She is using equation editor for parts of the test. We are unable to read it because there are these big black letters over parts of it. I do not know if she has Word 2007 and we have Word 2003 or less and if that is causing the problem or something else. Can anyone help? |

Equation Editor Problems
Best thing to do is to ask the teacher exactly what she's using
to create the test. She may be using Word and MathType. If that's the case, you'll need the MathType fonts in order to view the equations. You can get the fonts for free from the link in my signature. (Look in the Downloads section to the right of the page.) If she's using Word and MathType, and you need to edit the equations, you'll need either MathType itself or the "MathType 30 day" download from our web site. This will work with all features enabled for 30 days, but after the 30 day period, you'll still be able to edit MathType equations. If she's using Word 2007 and creating the math with the new equation editing tool, you should still be able to read them normally in Word 2003 after you install the converters for that. If you don't have the converters, Word should mention how to get them the first time you try to open a 2007 document in 2003. -- Bob Mathews Director of Training Design Science, Inc. bobm at dessci.com http://www.dessci.com/free.asp?free=news FREE fully-functional 30-day evaluation of MathType 5 MathType, WebEQ, MathPlayer, MathFlow, Equation Editor, TeXaide On 7-Jul-2007, sambobelle wrote: I am taking classes on-line.
