how can i format the font in word 2007 to say outline and shadow?
in old versions of office i was able to click on format font and click on
boxes to shadow, outline, subscript, superscript etc. can this be done with office 2007? |

Much of what you describe is on the Home Tab of the Ribbon in the Font group
as well as on the Mini Toolbar that appears when you select text. The remainder you can get to by clicking the Dialog Launcher for that group (the little square button @ the right end of the group's nameplate). IIRC, you can also call up the Format Font dialog in Win Word by using the keystroke: Control+D. To display the Font dialog box in Word 2007, you can click Ctrl+D.
