Default space after paragraph

How do i change the amount of space after the paragraph to 4.0 points?I know
i can do it to 6 ,12,18, 24 pts but 4.0 pts?i have no idea

Default space after paragraph

You can type any number in, the 6, 12, 18 etc are what Word defaults to but
you can type "4" in before pt at the end.

Default space after paragraph

Note that you can even type the value in a different unit of measurement if
you want to. For example, you can type it in inches or centimeters. Word
will convert it to points (which you will see the next time you open the
Paragraph dialog box).

Default space after paragraph

To add to what Stefan has said, if you use a different unit of measurement,
you do have to type that unit in: 2", say, or 2 in, or 2 cm. A number
entered without a unit will be assumed to be points.
