Extra page after table
When I extend a table to the bottom of a page, often I get an unwanted page
that follows. I can see a hard return code on the top or the unwanted page, but I cannot delete it or delete the page even though no text is on the page. Suggestions?? |

Extra page after table
Troy was telling us:
Troy nous racontait que : When I extend a table to the bottom of a page, often I get an unwanted page that follows. I can see a hard return code on the top or the unwanted page, but I cannot delete it or delete the page even though no text is on the page. Suggestions?? It is a Word thing.... A table must be followed by an ampersand (¶). 5 Suggestions: In later Word versions - From XP (or 2000?) - you can set the table to "floating" in the Table Properties by setting the wrapping to Around. Select the ¶ under then table and set it to a line spacing of 0.7 pt (Format Paragraph). Sometimes, setting the last ¶ to Hidden (Format Font) will do the trick at print times or when you do not use "Show all" Reduce the bottom or top margin! Put the table in a floating text box. -- Salut! _______________________________________ Jean-Guy Marcil - Word MVP ISTOO Word MVP site: http://www.word.mvps.org |
