Page Layout in Word 2002
Hi there,
I have a document that was imported from an infobase. Even though I have changed the paper size to letter, 8 1/2 X 11 and changed margins to 1.0 inches on all four sides, the text uses a 2 1/2 inch margin on the right and on the bottom. This shows both in print layout with the ruler at the top and when the document prints. So far, I have cleared all formatting. I have also tried to copy to a new document, but the odd right and bottom margin remain with this document. I appreciate any suggestions! Thanks, Patty |

If the document is also reduced (smaller font size than expected), the
likelihood is that it contains "markup" (tracked changes or comments) and Word is allowing the margin space for the "balloons." -- Suzanne S.
