After re-inserting and linking, it looks okay. But when I add data to new
rows in the spreadsheet, then come back and update the link, the new data is NOT available. Whether it's linked or just pasted as picture, the spreadsheet do not seem to include data in new cells, like, for example, fifteen additional rows. "CyberTaz" wrote: If the Excel stuff was actually *inserted* before, the Link box evidently didn't get checked or the link may be set to be updated manually. Go to EditLinks & see if that command is active (not dimmed). If active, select it and update the link through the dialog box. If that is not available, it sounds like you are actually dealing with a 'picture' of the stuff that was copied from an Excel file and pasted into a Word doc. If so, delete the picture and got to InsertObjectFrom File. Navigate to locate & 'open' your Excel file and make sure to put a check in the Link box. You will have more display flexibility and be able to have the link udated Automatically or Manually through the Links command mentioned above. HTH |:) |
