Why would a word document lock? It claims it's in compatability mo
I've never used this mode and have never heard of it. I turned on my computer
yesterday and tried to edit my resume and it claims the document is now locked and I am in compatibility mode. Can someone help me understand what this is and how to shut it off. Thanks |

Are you using a trial version of the software that has now expired or have
you not activated your copy of the software? If so, see http://us20.trymicrosoftoffice.com/faq.aspx -- Hope this helps. "Compatibility mode" means that you've opened a Word97-2003 document
in Word2007. Not related to the locking. On Mar 22, 7:11*pm, Rodan wrote: I've never used this mode and have never heard of it.
