If your Macro Security level is High or Very High, you won't be able to;
macros are tacitly disabled. You have to reduce the level to Medium to even get the chance to enable them--UNLESS the macros are in templates or add-ins stored in any of Word's template folders or the Word Startup folder AND you have checked the box (on the Trusted Sources tab of Tools | Macro | Security) to "Trust all installed add-ins and templates." -- Suzanne S.
