Microsoft Exchange is an expensive corporate communications system that
would allow Word to communicate with the Outlook Express address book (which is otherwise not available to Word directly). Word is only compatible with MAPI complaint address books, which essentially means Outlook. In order to mail merge from the Outlook Express address book, you will first have to export the address book to a compatible file format (CSV) then use that file as a data source. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org teaya wrote: When I am in Word and try to use the envelopes and lable to address envelopes and click on the address book I get this message Logn on failed: you must logon to microsoft exchange to access your address book error code unspecified code.
