Normal.dot default styles
I have a Windows 2000 PC and I use Word 2003, recently upgraded from Word
2000. I have searched for this answer in the MVP sites and newsgroups and cannot find it. What styles should be in the normal.dot template?. I cannot find a normal.dot template on my machine when searching for it in Windows. It displays, however, in Word's Tools | Templates and Add-Ins | Organize view. In that view, the normal.dot template has many styles that were mistakenly added to it. Once I know what styles should be in the normal.dot template (and remove the extraneous ones), I can begin re-creating new templates for the several types of documents we write here. (The current templates came from this "corrupted" normal.dot template.) Thank you in advance. |
