Default Desktop file shortcut

I created a file shortcut on my desktop, the original file is on a network.
The shortcut does not update when new files are added from the network. Any
solution?

Hi ?B?dHJy?=,

A file shortcut refers only to a single file, it won't link to additional
files. Perhaps you need a shortcut to the folder that contains these files?

Have you tried asking your IT department about an efficient way to do whatever
it is you need to do?
