You can certainly copy it, but Word 95 will not open it. Save your Word 2003
document as RTF format and you should have more success. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Charlie wrote: Why can't I copy a Word 2003 format file to a computer with Word 95? |

You can certainly copy a document created in Word 2003 but because the
file format for Word changed in Word 97 you will not be able to open it in Word 95. Microsoft does have a "Word 97-2000 Import Converter" available which will allow you to open files created in Word 97 - 2003 in Word 6 or Word 95:: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/162214/EN-US/ -- Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup.
