Protecting a table column
A protected form is the only way I know of to do this, but you don't need to
change the entries in column 1. You just need to add form fields to column 2. See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...nTheBlanks.htm and especially the forms tutorials by Dian Chapman that this article links to. -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA "GKW in GA" wrote in message ... I have a document that has 2 columns and about 10 rows. Column 1 contains survey questions and column 2 contains the answers. I don't want them being able to change the column 1 questions but I want them to be able to key into col 2 (answers) How can I do this without deleting the entries in column 1 and re-creating them as form fields |
