Dictionary in Word 2003
Help! I got a new copy of Word 2003 with my new Dell laptop and I can't seem
to access the "automatic" dictionary like I could with my old Word program (where I just had to have the cursor on the word and hit "alt." I have tried everything I know to try to access the dictionary that is supposed to come with the program, but I cannot seem to get it to work. Any suggestions? |

Dictionary in Word 2003
Hi ?B?TXVycg==?=,
Help! I have tried everything I know to try to access the dictionary that is supposed to come with the program, but I cannot seem to get it to work. There's nothing built into Word that reacts to pressing the Alt key. By default, when you press Alt, it will activate the menu bar. So your old Word program must have been modified through some kind of Addin OR you're misremembering something. What do you mean by "automatic dictionary"? What do you expect should happen when Alt is pressed? Does F7 do what you're looking for?
