Default Save and recover a backup copy of a document

I saved my document in backup format using ofice 2007, and cant open it at
home using microsoft word 2003

Default Save and recover a backup copy of a document

Do you have the 2007 compatibility pack installed at home? You won't open
Word 2007 docx format without it.
