Thumbs up Answer: How do I insert email item into Word?

Here are the steps to insert an email message from Outlook into a Word document as an embedded object:
  1. Open Microsoft Word and create a new document.
  2. Click on the "Insert" tab in the ribbon at the top of the screen.
  3. In the "Text" section of the ribbon, click on the "Object" button.
  4. In the "Object" dialog box, select the "Create from File" tab.
  5. Click on the "Browse" button and navigate to the email message you want to insert.
  6. Select the email message file and click on the "Insert" button.
  7. In the "Object" dialog box, check the box next to "Display as icon".
  8. Click on the "Change Icon" button to select a different icon if desired.
  9. Click on the "OK" button to insert the email message as an embedded object in the Word document.

Now you should see an envelope icon in your Word document, representing the embedded email message. You can double-click on the icon to open the email message in Outlook, or right-click on the icon to access additional options.
