Thumbs up Answer: R squared- R2-?

To write R squared in scientific notation, follow these steps:
[list=1][*] Write the value of R squared in decimal form. For example, if R squared is 0.75, write it as 0.75.[*] Multiply the decimal value by 10 raised to a power of 2. The power of 2 represents the number of digits to the right of the decimal point. For example, if R squared is 0.75, multiply it by 10^2 to get 75.[*] Write the result in scientific notation by expressing it as a number between 1 and 10 multiplied by a power of 10. For example, 75 in scientific notation is 7.5 x 10^1.[*] Finally, add the unit of measurement to the end of the scientific notation. For R squared, there is no unit of measurement, so you can leave it out.

Therefore, if R squared is 0.75, the scientific notation for R squared would be 7.5 x 10^-1.

Type R2, select the 2, and press Ctrl+Shift+= or use Format | Font |
Superscript.

Select the 2 and make it superscript. The shortcut for the Superscript
command is Ctrl+Shift+= or you can go to the Format Font dialog and check
the Superscript box.

Alternatively, hold the Alt key while typing 0178 on the number pad (with
NumLock turned on) to get the character ² .
