Default Track Changes - deleted words

deleted words show up in blue, but not with strike through. Inserted words
show up as underscored. Have checked everything, cannot find how to change
the way deleted words are formatted. Have compared settings with co-workers
and it appears to be the same. When viewing track changes on a different
computer, deleted words show up with a strike-through. It is difficult to
see what has been deleted in a document. Help!
