Use File | Save As to create a template from an existing document. If
you want your custom template to appear on a tab in the New dialog box, make sure to put it in a subfolder (whose name matches the tab) of the user templates folder (to find the name of the user templates folder, look in Tools | Options, File Locations tab). For more about templates, see: Creating a Template - The Basics (Part I) http://word.mvps.org/faqs/customizat...platePart1.htm Creating a Template (Part II) http://word.mvps.org/faqs/customizat...platePart2.htm -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "leinad" wrote in message ... i created a word document with a normal style.but i want that word document to be converted to a template in the ms-word, named manual in the publications module. is it possible? if so, how to do it? |
