How to change symbol displayed by check box field in a form? I would like to
change it from a cross to a tick symbol. |

There is no easy way to do this in a protected form. The formfield only has
an X. There are a number of ways to create and use clickable checkboxes in documents / templates. Some require protected or locked forms, others do not.
