Install Word on different computer
That depends on your version. If Word came with your computer, then it is an
OEM version and only licensed for use on that particular machine. If it is a retail version of the software, then you should be able to install on the new computer and activate your software. (Then uninstall it from the old computer.) It may require a telephone activation rather than online. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://www.mvps.org/word which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup.
