Document properties used across multiple documents
Hi,
I have been asked to create a set of starting documents (probably about 20 documents in the set) that can be configured and used at the start of a project. I need to have information entered in one document and then be able to accesss this information to poulate headers/footers and fields throughout the set of documents. I thought about creating custom document properties for the first document with a vba form so that they can be updated easily without having to navigate through the word menus. I am not sure how to then get these properties accessible in other documents. I do not want to use Master documents. We are using Word 2007 but should remain compatible with Word 2003. The people using these documents are not expert word users so it needs to be foolproof and simple. Any ideas? -- Carol Lutz |
