Word 8.5 partial print last line
When printing I get the last line of my letters partially printed.
Just the top half of the last line prints, the bottom half does not. This occurs abut 3 inches up from the bottom of the page. The top and bottom margins are set at 1 inch, and Headers and Footers set at .5 inches. This just started happening. I had been able to print full pages before. Anybody know what is happening? wrote: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...sDontPrint.htm Thanks for the reply. That doesn't seem to be my problem. I have old files in Word that print full length. It's only new files I create that are cut off at 3 inches above the bottom of the page. I have compared the Page Setup of my old files with my new files and there is no difference. Interesting enough, while messing around with one of my new files I tried adding a row of asterisks a few lines down from the end of the letter. In that case, everything printed, including the asterisks. Since it is bad form to send a letter with a row of asterisks at the bottom, I don't consider this a viable option, only an interesting phenomenon. Still puzzled. Ron Kelley |

Are you using an HP laser printer? I seem to recall from a long time back a
problem with some HP drivers that resulted in this issue, but cannot find the reference. If so update the printer driver. Check that there is no zoom setting in the print dialog and that the paper size setting in page layout matches the paper size defined in the printer driver. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Ron wrote: On Sun, 24 May 2009 08:45:33 +0300, "Graham Mayor" wrote: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...sDontPrint.htm Thanks for the reply. Go to your HP Solution Center, click on Printer Settings, turn "minimize
margins" to OFF. This worked for me. "Ron" wrote: On Mon, 25 May 2009 07:20:42 +0300, "Graham Mayor" wrote: Are you using an HP laser printer?
