Default Page Numbering

Add a section break after page 3.
With your cursor on page 4, choose Insert/Page Numbers...
In the dialog box, choose the position and alignment then click Format...
Under Page numbering, make sure the Start at option says 1.

This will force the fourth page of the document to be numbered page 1. The
pages after that should be numbered sequentially.

Default Page Numbering

Yes, you will need to put a section break at the end of page 3 and on page 4
go to View header and Footer, select footer and click the 'Same as Previous'
icon on the footer toolbar. You can then format your number (via the format
page number icon on the toolbar) so if you want this to be page 1 you can
select 'Start at' and change this to 1 or leave it blank if you want this to
be page 4.

When you get to 7 you will need to place another section break on page 6 and
repeat the action.

Hope this helps
