When we receive Word documents from our German branch, they won't open.
Saving and opening within Word causes Word to hang. Subsequent attempts to
open bring up a warning of serious problems caused by the template.
I've followed the advice in
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;325718. If they
winzip the file it will open but very slowly. Saving as rtf doesn't seem to
make any difference.
Our senders insist they've had no problems sending Word internally, or to
our other branches, only the UK.
