Default Equation editor Word2007 Trial edition

I am using the MS Office Standard 2007 trial and trying to figure out the new
equation editor. I am having trouble, however, creating multi-ined
equations. After I enter the first line of text, I can't just "enter" to a
new line like in 3.0 fomr 2003. Is it impossible to make multi-line
equations or am i just dumb?

You can either (a) use Shift+Enter to stay within the equation input box or
(b) press Enter and then Alt+= to start another equation. If the paragraph
style's Space After is larger than the interior line spacing, method (b)
will give you more space between the equations. If you're using equation
numbering at the right margin, you're probably stuck with method (b) or with
putting the equations in tables. Other than that, the results of the two
methods seem to be pretty nearly equivalent.
