Default Different first page for footer quick part

I'd like to create a quick part for the footer gallery that will have the
file name on all pages and the page numbers on all but the first page. How
do I set a footer quick part so that it does not put a page number on the
first page, but it does put the file name? I've only been able to do this
manually, applying the quick part, then checking different first page and
manually adding the file name to the first page.
Thanks!

The Quick Parts aren't specific to "first page" vs. "other pages" -- you
have to set that up separately first.

- Click Insert Footer Edit Footer (that last is at the bottom of the
gallery). When the cursor is in the footer, the Header & Footer Tools tab
appears on the ribbon.

- On that ribbon, in the Options group, check the Different First Page box.
The tag on the footer area now says "First Page Footer".

- If you've already created a Quick Part that displays the file name, insert
that; otherwise, insert a FileName field.

- On the ribbon, click the Next Section button to get to the footer area
whose tag just says "Footer" (this is for the rest of the pages). Note that
you must have at least two pages already, or else the Next Section button
won't do anything.

- Insert the file name again here (the one from the First Page Footer
doesn't carry over to other pages), then tab to the other side of the page
and insert a Page field. Another gotcha he if you select a page number
from the Page Number Bottom of Page gallery, it will wipe out anything
you've already placed in that footer. Instead, choose from Page Number
Current Position, which adds to any previous content.
