Default How can I prevent others from seeing tracked changes to my doc?

I am using 2003 and have tracked changes to my document.
I have accepted all deletions, unchecked the 'Make hidden markup visible
when opening or saving' (Tools Options Security), marked it as final and
even made it read-only.
I email the doc which comes across with all these settings however the
recipient is still able to review it as the original, original with markup,
and final with markup.

I have even tried copying the contents and pasting into a new document and
the changes are still visible.

Can anyone help me with this - I have a very important document to send to
one of our customers and I do not want them to see the changes!!

Thank you in advance from some one who has less hair than when she started
work this morning!

Try using the arrow buttons on the Reviewing toolbar to jump to each change
one by one.

Also, you can click on the arrow next to the checkmark (accept change)
button and select "accept all changes in document." On the X button (reject
changes) select "delete all comments in document."

You need click on the "Accept All Tracked Changes" and "Delete
All Comments" commands on the Reviewing toolbar. I suspect that
you only changed to Final view on the Reviewing toolbar, which
hides the tracked changes, but does not remove them. See

and

for more information.
