How to center table/text in a document?
Hi,
I'm having a tough time trying to center a table in a document. Using MS Word 97. When I go to Page Layout, the Left and Right margins are set to 0.7". But, when I look at the document in Print Preview, there is more space on the left side of the document than on the right side. I'd like to make this symmetrical. In the Page Layout view, I've tried to play with the margins at the top, but it just shifts the text on the left, and in the Print Preview, the text is cut off. I think I need to adjust the "window" through which I'm looking at the text and shift it to the left, before centering the text. Hope this makes sense. I'm not an expert in Word formatting, so will appreciate any help with this. Thanks! -amit |
