Default How do I change the font in the table of contents

I created a table of contents in a document and the sub-heading page numbers
are defaulted to times new roman, the first heading is not exactly where I
want it how can I manipulate this to look how I want it?I created a ta

You can modify the appearance of the TOC by modifying the TOC styles. By
default, all the TOC styles are 12-pt TNR. If you modify the style, the page
numbers will follow.
