Default how can I add addition fonts to word

I want to add addtional fonts to Word 2003. In particular, I wish to have a
font which looks like cursive handwriting.

Fonts belong to the computer as a whole, not just to Word. You install them
through Control Panel Fonts. There are many sites from which you can
download them (do a Google). Many are free; you get what you pay for. If
you're creating something important, buy a real font.
