Default on-screen label layout

I want to print a page of labels - each one different. When I use the
"Envelopes and Labels" tool, there does not seem to be a way to view the
layout of each label. Also, I have to cut and past each one in one at a
time, and then I can not save or edit it.

I want to prepare a sheet of labels, and then go back and edit it later.

Is there a way to view and edit the labels on the screen the way they would
actually print out - a full sheet at a time? (e.g. in a table format?)

Click the 'new document' button in the label dialog. This will produce a
full page table you can edit.
Alternatively use mail merge -

And, if you cannot see the outline of each label, select Show Gridlines from
the Tables menu.

Hope this helps.
