Inserting GMT Time Zone
How can I have Word insert automatically the "GMT-05:00" (for example) in the
text (as a field). Then when I update the field, if I am in Europe it will save the right value (provided I changed the time zone on my notebook) and when I'm back in America it will do so again. Better example: if the document is shared by workers in different time zones (on a central server), they can check it out, edit it, save it and check it back in - I want the time they saved the doc, with their time zone. Plainly, I have this field: {SAVEDATE \@ "M/d/yyyy h:mm am/pm" \* MERGEFORMAT } and I want to add the "GMT-05:00" string to that field. Thanks |
