Restarting renumbering on a line adds more than 100K bytes to document
When I right-click on a line to restart auto outline numbering (in a document that also has section numbering) numbers are added to many other lines that were previously Normal style and more than 100K bytes are added to the size of the document. When I then do "Undo Typing" the number are removed from the Normal style lines, but the added bytes are NOT removed. If I continue doing this restart numbering, my document grows to be several megabytes. The only way I've found to recover is to delete the document and return to an earlier version. I did not notice exactly when this problem first started, so I have no idea what change may have caused this problem to start. However, I have only had the problem for at most a couple weeks after I'd editing the document for a number of weeks without any problem. Please let me know how to remove the added bytes. Thanks! |
