How to get Chinese Pinyin with tones in Word
Hi All
I want to type Chinese pin yin with tones into a word document. My laptop has the Chinese character and Pinyin language/fonts installed and available i.e. I can change the language setting and type Pinyin in which automatically translate to Chinese characters on entering or spacebar. But I don't want the characters, I want the Pinyin with tones.... In the language bar I changed the Language to Chinese and(PRC) and "Chinese Simplified (Microsoft Pinyin IME 3.0)" and then went to the context menu and to €œsoft keyboarb" and selected "Pinyin Letters". Now I can only type pinyin vowels - no letters? (so I went back to English) Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong or whether there are any "Add-in's" or programmes that I can download to enable me to type straight pinyin with tones into a Word document? -- Thank for your help in advance BeSmart |
