Default Changing the number of Characters per line

I'm working on converting a document that has been set up only 70 characters
per line to a 100 characters per line. The entire document is in paragraphs
of 70 characters per line and it take hours if I was to manually try and
change it.

Is there a way of formating the text of the document all at once so that I
don't have to manually change each line?

Hoping someone can help me out.

Thanks!
