Default "save as" is like save

Why is it that when I try to use "save as" to save my word doc's it does not
prompt if i am sure that I want to overwrite the existing document on my hard
drive?
Ive uninstalled office completely and reinstalled it and still nothing. I
have checked the options for save and did not find anything. It was working
recently and now it does not prompt anymore. Can anyone please help help?

Default

Unless you choose a new filename, Save As *is* equivalent to Save.
