Default i am currently trying to write a book in word any help thanks

I am currently trying to write a book in word 2003 any help with setting up
index will be appreciated and also any other advice relevant

Check with your prospective printer(s) and ask what format they accept.

That link is coming up 404: Typo maybe? Removed? Also
