This is the first time I've tried to put a watermark on in Word 2003 and it's
printing, but only every other letter. Therefore if I select COPY from the
pulldown list, only O Y is printed. I Tried putting in 'Duplicate', and
it only printed ' u l c e' , which is not exactly a lot of use. I
just checked for updates - please don't tell me it's a printer driver probelm
(Laserjet 1010).

In the Printed Watermark dialog, clear the check box for "Semitransparent."
